Your chances are good enough that you should apply. There's no way to say for sure because it is such a competitive school. There's just no way to tell anyone they're a shoe-in for any top school.

So apply to Penn, but realize that you can go elsewhere and then still get into Wharton.

If you're very good at investing and you can prove it (i.e., it wasn't just a paper game), keep doing it. That will be a very impressive accomplishment to show the admissions people, and it's relevant to your choice of study and career, too.

Although you meet and beat the minimum requirements to run the game, your system specs are to blame for the poor performance in game. Both your processor and video card are problem areas. The video card because it's a budget card with 128 bit (or 64 bit if you really cheaped out) GDDR2 memory and your CPU because even if you were to upgrade your card you'd experience bottle necking at a certain point. A few other things could be causing the problem, such as poor PC upkeep. Loads of virus/malware can cause you to run games poorly.

I'd suggest getting a better video card such as:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=4770&x=0&y=0
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=gt+240&x=0&y=0

Both are in the budget card field, but vastly superior to your current card. You can step up further from there if you have the money, but you'll likely hit a wall because of your CPU. I'd also scan for virus/malware and format if necessary.

Bottom line is with your current rig, you're never going to be able to run this game on high, but you may possibly be able to run medium settings if you ditch that terrible video card.

People who are losing their homes bought more house than they could afford and had poor credit due to their own lack of financial responsibility. They were led down the primrose path by less than ethical lenders who "made things work" thru creative financing.

In my opinion THESE folks do not deserve any assistance. Why should I pay taxes to bail them out?

On the other hand, home builders have been keeping the economy going when every thing else was in recession. With the glut of foreclosed homes on the market, this is killing the home bulding industry -- which creates lots of jobs.

Encouraging people to buy up foreclosed homes is necessary. Otherwise, the property values of the surrounding area go down and you end up with whole neighborhoods of empty houses with boarded up windows.

tell your brother he did a good job. i liked his points about J.R. Smith and i agree 100% with his 5th reason. it even made me laugh. you can tell he's young with some of his reasoning, but all in all he did a very good job.

i'm not going to knock on a kid for his report. as i think he has a pretty good feel for the game and i wouldn't want to discourage him when there is no reason to.

thats cool you did that for your bro.

peace.

Getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it's easier said than done.

You can use pay per click advertising in the search engines to reach audiences looking for your products. You can use Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com

Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important -- and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more - that's additional traffic that you get for FREE!

AddThis http://www.addthis.com

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

6. Post a link to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use). Examples are:
